FAQ

How do I care for my earrings?

Polymer clay is a slightly flexible material when cured, so it could easily be scratched by harder materials such as metal. Be sure to store your earrings carefully away from other metal jewelry! Unlike porcelain or ceramics, polymer clay does not shatter if dropped, and will bend before breaking — but please take care and remember that each pair is handmade, art you can wear.

Makeup or other dirt can be removed from clay components by GENTLY going over dirty spots with a q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol or acetone.

Raw brass components may tarnish and darken over time if exposed to water and oils from the skin, but can be easily cleaned with a soft jewelry cloth and/or tarnish remover.

Could I request a customized item?

I generally do not take custom orders for earrings (including changing the colours of the existing designs available in my shop), but in special cases — if you are looking for some custom bridal party earrings or a retailer interested in custom designs for your store, please send me a message. I reserve the right to accept customs on a case by case basis, and custom orders may incur extra charges.

When can I expect to receive my order?

Processing times vary throughout the year, but I always try my best to get orders out as quickly as possible without rushing the handmade process. ALWAYS contact me directly if you need your item by a specific date, and I will try my best to get it to you by then (within reason).

With that being said, processing times (the amount of time from when I get your order to when I mail it) are approximately 3-5 business days. If you need an item before a specific date, please send me a message before placing an order.
